Sport Package

18" wheels w/performance tires (style 264) 18 x 7.5 front, 18 x 8.5 rear; 215/40R-18 front, 245/35R-18 rear run-flat performance tires. Performance tires are not recommended for driving in snow and ice. Due to low-profile tires, please note: wheels, tires and suspension parts are more susceptible to road hazard and consequential damages.

Shadowline trim Shadowline trim adds a bolder, sporty look to front and rear side-window frames, window recess finishers, and door-sill trim strips.

M steering wheel 3-spoke leather-wrapped multi-function M sport steering wheel delivers confident grip when taking tight corners, and remains comfortable when driving long distances.

M Sports leather steering wheel with paddle shifters Steering wheel-mounted shift paddles provide sporty, convenient and immediate down- and upshifting at the touch of a finger. Auto-dimming interior and exterior mirrors Automatic-dimming rear-view mirror senses the bright headlights of vehicles behind you, and automatically darkens. Exterior power-folding side-view mirrors automatically dim when reflecting bright lights, helping to eliminate glare when driving at night.

BMW Assist BMW Assist with Bluetooth Wireless Technology is a Global Positioning System and wireless communication system for Automatic Collision Notification, Emergency Request, enhanced Roadside Assistance and Stolen Vehicle Recovery services. Bluetooth® wireless technology is standard with the BMW Assist option. Bluetooth® is a wireless communications technology that connects mobile phones enabled with Bluetooth® to a vehicle for hands-free calling. With the use of a compatible Bluetooth® enabled mobile phone, a driver can place and answer calls, and browse and select phonebook contacts from their phone, simply by using the multifunction steering wheel controls and radio keys.

Lumbar support Power lumbar support in the front seats adds four-way adjustable comfort for the lower back - it can be adjusted up/down and in/out.

Active Steering   BMW's innovative Active Steering enhances the driving experience. It varies the steering ratio based on vehicle speed. At low and medium speeds, the steering is more direct. The car is more agile and nimble, especially on twisty roads.

STEPTRONIC automatic transmission   6-speed STEPTRONIC automatic transmission provides a choice of three modes: "Drive", which incorporates BMW's Adaptive Transmission Control; "Sport" automatic, for a more dynamic shift pattern; and STEPTRONIC automatic, for the hands-on control of a manual without using a clutch.

Comfort Access system   Comfort Access system offers an even greater degree of convenience: keyless access to your car. Simply carrying the remote key in a pocket allows you to unlock the doors by touching the door handle. You can also turn the engine on or off by pressing the Start/Stop button without first inserting the remote key. Foot must be on brake or, with manual transmission, must also depress the clutch in order to start.

HD radio   HD Radio™ broadcasting is the new, digital standard for AM and FM radio stations. Across the United States, over 1300 AM/FM stations have upgraded to HD Radio technology, with over 600 of the FM stations also offering new, HD Radio-only "multicast" channels, vastly increasing programming choice. HD Radio stations are broadcast in crystal-clear digital sound and offer innovative data services, such as song artist and title scrolling across the screen. HD Radio is totally subscription free from your local AM and FM radio stations, once your car is equipped with an HD Radio receiver.

iPod and USB adapter   The iPod® adaptor offers the ability to simply and easily integrate selected iPod® models and other selected MP3 players into the vehicle's audio system. Once connected, the MP3 unit is fully controllable through the audio interface. You can then enjoy your personalized music selections delivered with the full audio capabilities and refinement of the BMW sound system.

Park Distance Control (rear only)   Park Distance Control uses ultrasonic sensors in the rear bumper to help you judge the distance to other cars and unseen objects when parking. The beeping becomes faster as your bumper approaches the object, turning into a constant tone when the distance is less than 12 inches.
